Welcome back wanderers, we've got some news for you.
A big refresh has hit the Backrooms, throwing all your current knowledge of the areas out the window. With new Entity abilities, revamped Item Upgrade System and many QoL updates, this is the biggest update the server has had yet!
Server
Updated Version to 1.21.5.
Gameplay
Increased Base Health.
Increased from 20 > 100.
Added Camp Effects.
Camps now despawn entities when they enter. You now also receive increased Sanity regeneration while within them.
Added Permanent Menu Item in Hotbar.
In the 9th slot of the Hotbar is a button that will lead you to the Menu.
Added Workstations in Menu.
You can now access Crafting, Brewing, Scrapping and Upgrading from the Menu.
Added New Stats
Defense: Armor and Armor Toughness were merged into a more balanced stat called Defense
Crit Chance and Crit Damage: A separate system for critting enemies.
Fortune: There are 3 types of Fortune
Collection: For getting more items from chests.
Looting: For getting lore loot from entities.
Mining: For getting more materials from mining.
Revamped Effects.
Now a custom system that allows new custom effects. All current effects can be viewed within the 'Tab List'.
Revamped Warping.
Players now have Warp Stability. The further you warp, the more Warp Stability is consumed. If it gets too low, you'll receive powerful debuffs. Warps now take time to initiate, with the duration increasing the farther you travel.
Revamped Levelling.
Now capped at 25.
Revamped Upgrades.
Exploration Level: Levels now require a certain Expl. Level to enter them. You can upgrade you Expl. Level by discovering POIs.
Mining Level: Upgrading will grant you more Mining Fortune, which will give you more items when mining.
Crafting Level: You will start with only being able to craft a small number of items, but the more you craft, the more this gets upgraded.
Combat Level: Upgrading this stat will give you upgrades related to combat. Upgrades when killing certain entities of certain levels.

Entities
Added Abilities.
Most entities now have unique abilities to make their fights more interesting.
Added Gemling.
Like the Keyling, has a 0.1% chance to spawn after killing any Entity. Drops 10-300 Liminal Gems.
Added Hound.
Ability 'Savage Mark': Hounds occasionally bite very hard, leaving a mark that slows and damages the player over a short time.
Revamped Entity Stats.
All entity base damage values have been increased, to balance against the increased player health.
Changed Wretch.
[+] New ability 'Blood Spit': Wretches can spit at the player, dealing significant damage at higher levels.
[!] Increased base damage from 5 > 17.
[+] Increased damage amount per level from 0.1 > 1.3.
[!] Given a new skin texture.
Changed Duller.
[+] New ability 'Hungering Prescence': Dullers can sometimes drain hunger if too close.

Added Item Upgrading.
Instead of random grades, all items start at level 1 and can be upgraded at an Anvil using specific materials.
Added More Crates.
Includes Crate of all Lucky O' Milk flavours, Candy Cookies and Memory Juice.
Added Item Attack Speed.
Each weapon now has an "Attacks per Second" (APS) stat ranging from 0.5 (Extremely Slow) to 4 (Extremely Fast).
Changed Crates.
All Crates now require 4 of their respective item to craft.

Revamped Keymaster.
When using a Keymaster's Token, it will now only roll keys that contain items based on the Levels you've visited. For example, if you use a Token only after visiting Level 1, you can only get Almond Water, Candy Cookie and Lucky O' Milk Keys. This change also applies to the Keymaster's Crate Key.
Revamped Daily Reward.
Similarly to the Keymaster, you can now only obtain keys that correspond to the Levels you have visited.
Revamped Banker.
You can now deposit your Bottlecaps into the Bank to prevent losing them from dying.
Other
Added Tips for New Players.
Includes tips for Sanity, killing Entities and much more.
Changed Intro Cutscene.
Temporarily Removed You Cheated and Royal Potato Museum.
Will be readded in a future patch.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where Level Introductions could be played multiple times if entering the level more than once in quick succession.
Fixed an issue where new items were not able to be scrapped.
Fixed an issue where the 'Steampunk Chestplate' was not returning 'Copper Ingots' upon scrapping.
Fixed an issue where players could use a command that would delete their vaults. (br-0027)
Fixed a continuity issue with the Steampunk Robot's name.
Fixed an issue where Steampunk Robots and Skin Stealers were a lot faster than intended when using their unique abilities.
